And who got the Golden Key International Honour Society New Member Scholarship??
TADAH!!!
*am not gonna say it out loud*
Hehehe. So as you can clearly read, the name is pretty long and grand. Fancy too. But as a matter of fact they only gave me $250!! Again, I can’t contain the accountant side of me so I will be bore you with the calculations.
The membership fee is $90. So technically speaking they are only giving me $160. Also, since it is only a one-time-go money, I would prefer to call it a pocket money.
Scholarship konon. Ptff!!
But anyhow, free money is better than nothing and I reckon it will be a great addition to my resume too~~ (^^)
Apart from that, I also received this mail from Deakin informing me that I am officially nominated as the student rep for Deakin Business School Advisory Board. Assuming it sounded like a student society thingy I was feeling alright.. mind you that I am not EXTREMELY thrilled. But then as I click open the document that listed all the members... I started to have sweaty hands!! (Like Ivy..hehehe)
It is full with all those BIG GUYSeg: Managing Director, Director, etc from MNC like Qantas!!. Not to mention they are loaded with experiences and I am the only student in it!!! Who unfortunately is nowhere near their status & knowledge & smartness & criticality & confidence & broadness & many many more.......
*Suddenly felt like I’m so so so stupid and about to make a fool of myself in front of those fellas..*
Anyway, I still had to embrace myself. Should be thankful that I’m given this chance eh? ♥
While doing my assignment in this freezing computer lab, I just remembered that I need to announce that.............
JEAN CHAN IS COMING TO AUSTRALIA!!!
Yes indeed, my childhood playmate is coming!! We can continue our playing activities~ Hoorraaaayyy!!!!!!!!!!!(sounds so wrong)
Since we didn’t manage to have a yearly KEYS trip this year, Jean coming to Australia will be awesome!
(In fact, if I recall correctly we don’t even have any KEYS trip last year since Shany
dump us half way and decided to go Bali with Choong... hmph! >.<)
To think back, the yearly trip had reduced from 10 people, 4 and finally 3 this year (including Terence).. sigh...
Anyhow, got to get back to my assignment and continue observing the FOREX market, which is a pretty cool assignment but it just tire my eyes to look at the tiny number and graphs ALL THE TIME. I know I am being kiasu to do that and the money isn’t even real to start with.... but this is my first time I’m playing in the FOREX!! I am just so genuinely excited.. not kiasu-ness that speaks here, its excitement!
