A weekend of sins..

Last weekend was unbelievably awesome!

It started with a sleepover at a friend’s place on Friday. Sort of unplanned but turned out pretty fun as well. Better than my previous sleepover at another friend’s place. But, we didn’t get much sleep since we were talking most of the time. As usual.. hehe. Frankly, I don’t really remember what the heck we talked about. The only thing I really recalled was being really cold and shivering a little despite covered by thick blanket. I reckon this is happens every time I drink more than my usual. *One excuse to remind myself not to drink*

The next day, I got called up by a text from my future landlord!!! Cheered me up instantly but the enthusiasm didn’t last really long due to the total lack of sleep. Plus someone kept on snoozing the alarm clock and it annoys me to the max. AND the fact that I had to take this horribly long train ride back to my own house is just the right thing to drain my remaining energy. Perhaps the next sleepover should be at MY house..

Anyway, I crashed right the instant I manage to crawl to bed.. You can only imagine how tired I was.

But sleeping on a weekend is a sin that cannot be forgiven. Hence, not long after I knocked out, the ongoing phone calls to remind me of the next party came buzzing in from my tiny little pink cellphone. It was Ting Ting’s Birthday Party!!

I had to pulled my big fat ass up, take a quick shower, put on some much needed make-ups so that I don’t look like a zombie and head out to Marcela’s place to prepare salad. Do not ask me why it is necessary for 2 person to make a simple salad.. maybe it feels better to make salad together. Hehehe.

The party was packed with people and only ended by midnight. By then, I had a couple of bottles of beer which is not enough to make me tipsy but enough to make me feel sick. But again, it was fun and mingling with them really put my minds off things. We even managed to pre-plan some future parties like Marcela’s Birthday Party. It sounded a blast at that time, but God knows what drunk people can think of.

I woke up the next day, with a throbbing headache. No idea why since I was not tipsy at all. But it is a Sunday, so despite a headache, I still went out dinner with a different group of friends. She just came back from her holidays and it had been ages since I’ve met her. So yeap.. off to the city for a nice dinner and a cup of coffee afterwards. The dinner process was hilarious!! Perhaps it was the most entertaining thing that happened that night. Somehow, we (4 Europeans + 1 Malaysian) chose a Chinese restaurant to dine in and I suppose Europeans aren’t really good in ordering Chinese food. We took approximately 15 minutes just to think of what to order!

They even claim that it’s overly complicated!! (=.=”)

Well, certainly hope another weekend as such is coming soon.

Butters & Indies.. they are really really playful but totally adorable. Makes me crave for my own dog!

ps: just remember, a human heart is capable of more than one capacity.

Rooms found!!!

MUAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!

Yes, I couldn’t contain myself anymore. I feel like bursting!! My chances of getting the rooms that I had just inspected had rose to like 80% !!! And the remaining 20% is because the paperwork is still not done yet.

But still, I am totally ecstatic!! Up and above in Cloud Nine!! It’s like getting a humongous present for Christmas, one that you’ve always dreamt for. Yeap!

*Not like I ever celebrated Xmas but I think that describes the feeling*

Perhaps this picture can reflect my ecstasy!!

And the house is just right. Not too big nor small. Clean with a nice homey feel. Great location and ambience is awesome! More updates to come once I have sign the papers and secure them. =)

Back in Melb

Okay, so it seems rather obvious that I’ve neglected my blog for a whole month. BUT I have a valid reason to do so…HOLIDAYS!!!!

This past month, I had been actively participating in my holidays that I couldn’t find any time at all to blog. Though it has only been a couple of months being away from Malaysia but yet, it felt like ages. I guess I am spoilt in some ways. Though I don’t like to think it that way. Hehe. Well, I’m not gonna update bout my Malaysia trip since it is pretty much updated in my FB account. =)

Let me update bout my last 2 weeks, back here in Melbourne. It had been hectic all right. Initially, I was expecting dull hours passing by and all. But I ended up finding myself setting the alarm clock for the next day and the next and all the subsequent ones till today!! What kind of holiday requires you to set alarm clocks!! And not to mention, I am still pretty much jet lagging. Maybe due to the fact that I am still very much attached to Malaysian timing. For god sake, my buddies only online at night! Which is already midnight over here but unfortunately, that fact seems to slip pass their consciousness. Hehe. Nevertheless, I’m glad to keep in contact with them. (have to say this or else my head will no longer be on my neck…)

So, what was I so busy about? Most of the time, I was frantically finding a house. Yes, I am indeed in an ABSOLUTELY undeniably horribly desperate mood to find a house. 2 rooms actually; one for me and another for Hani. Reason so, the rooms we are staying now is very bloody f*cking expensive. To even think that I’m currently paying $892 a month for a room as such when I can probably get it $500 outside, is itself alone a nightmare. So, do you not think I am better off outside? Now, it might sounds easy to look for a room. (even my buddy Jean said so) But trust me, it is most definitely NOT. Most of the houses are packed with 7 rooms! They are not big houses as well, only small one floor one which is in fact smaller than my house in Malaysia. As if not crazy enough, there are only 2 toilets available AND it is really tiny. And the house!! Government should forbid such houses to even be charged any rent at all! Dark, gloomy, weird smell and easily pass for any ‘haunted’ audition should they be such a test. Most of all there are mixed genders, which myself am pretty uncomfortable about. I can barely imagine if the other guys uses the same toilet as I do and God knows what they do inside AND what if they install a hidden camera?! Well, that might be an extremist thinking but I would seriously find somewhere that I can claim as home and not dread to go back.

Other stuffs that kept me busy are society’s work (getting worse each day with the politics), volunteer work as a tutor (which by the way made me ashamed of myself for forgetting Form 2 Maths.. utterly humiliating), groceries, reading some books to make sure my reading skills don’t go rusty (currently in Harry Potter world) and some catching up with Tika, Marcela, David, Freddy and etc. life.

Oh yeah, I’ve also applied for this position in Uni which offer really good remunerations and since I do ADORES being in Uni all the time (the so-call ambience gave me much needed strength..LOL!) I seriously think I NEED this job, mind you it is not “want” alright, it is purely a NEED!! You still can live if you don’t have something you want, but you’ll die if you don’t satisfy your need. So, do pray for me whichever religion you are from. I shall be really grateful for your prayers which might contribute a little more in the tiny lucks I have.

ps: never thought it might be possible to fall deeper in love with you, honey
