No to yes?

Do you ever realise that every time you wish for something, it never comes true but when you stop wishing, it happens naturally? Or sometimes, the opposite of your wish will come true instead.

These things always happen to me. For example:

- I lost my purse. Kept on wishing that it’ll come back but it didn’t. Once I stop wishing and made necessary reports, it came back!

- Misplace my stuff and went crazy looking for it. Yet couldn’t find it till I gave up hope. And then, I realised that it was sitting nicely on my pillow...

- I saw this guy a few years ago.. Tall, skinny, awkward and had a very unhappy r/ship. Told myself and my friends that I will never wish to be with a guy like that. He’s now my bf... (am I’m loving it!)

- Saw this cute guy in University. Was dying to see him more and be friends with him. Didn’t happen. But when I realised he’s not so cute anymore (coz I found Daniel Henney who is much cuter), I keep bumping into him!! Even on trams!! There are thousands of trams in Melbourne, what are the odds...

- Told and convinced myself 4 years ago that I will not come to Australia coz it is over populated by Malaysian.. But I’m here now, studying my MBA..

As you can see, it is pretty obvious that I got to wish something in an opposite manner. Here’s my list of wish then:

- I wish I do not get a cute boss who is a Korean mix Caucasian and has a feeling for me.

- I do not hope that I will get a sudden lottery ticket with $1,000,000 prize.

- I hope that the weather in China and Taiwan will be freezing cold when I visit.

PS: We were playing with Terence’s new gadget. Took hundreds of these pics and I swear the pig actually look wishful!! Hehehe.

T2 After exam party~

Alright, let’s start with the day when Deakin Exam Week finishes. It was 22nd of October 2010.

We, as in Tika, Terence and I, had already planned to go partying at this Beach Party organised by DCS. So by 7.30 pm, we are all ready to get going to buy those tickets! (Yeap, I was thinking of crashing the party).

Some snaps just before we left the house.

We reached the place around 8 pm, which is quite early in my timing but apparently, the ticket had already sold out! They asked us to come back around 9.30 pm and we did. After some very nice and needed pizzas of course. Yet, at 9.30 pm, there were still no tickets.

Getting a little frustrated, we decided to go to the City instead. We chose Fusion in the Crown. It was around 10.30 pm when we reached and as expected in a club, it was dead quiet. Thank goodness the crowd gather up and not long after, we were hitting the tabs and the dance floor. Ba da boom, ba da boom! And around 11.30 pm, Bruno texted me and told me that he’s joining us. He was supposed to be in the beach party but according to very reliable rumours, the party was crap!! Hohohoo!! So glad that we didn’t go.

Made some temporary tattoos while we were there. =)

New 'family' in the house!

Woohoo!!! Exams are finally over! Yippee yippee yay yay!

I did terribly on my last paper so I'll just skip the 'how-was-ur-paper' part.

Anyway, before I go ahead and blog about my after exam party let me introduce to you the new addition in my home, courtesy of my dearest Stephanie Lo. (Terence’s sister). I’ll definitely miss her lots!

Tadah!!!

And another one!! For the untrained eyes, this is a Wii.. I never dreamed of having one but now, OMG!!!! Mom, its sort of like a video game but only better. And I bet my baby cousins would love to play these. Perhaps we should have one in the KL house? LOL!!

I would like to take this opportunity to represent the occupants of 2x7 Riversdale Rd in expressing our utmost gratitude for the very needed entertainment. Rest assured that we shall make the full use of it.

In fact, we already had.. LOL!!

From now onwards, there will be lots of exercise in the house and naturally we shall be much healthier beings. Can’t wait to get back home and buy a couple of those pasar malam Wii game.. Super Mario, Aladdin, Bomber Man, etc... Hehehhee!! Our home is complete!!

Just a yellow dress.

I found this beautiful YELLOW coloured dress yesterday. So decided to buy it lo kan.. Since Ivine’s wedding on Monday and all the bride maids are suppose to wear yellow. And all the cousins are bride maids so that makes me a bride maid as well!

But this is what happens yesterday night during my conversation with my bf, Terence:

Ivise: Honey!! What did U think of that yellow colour dress?

Terence : Its nice o. But why suddenly wanna buy yellow dress pula.

Ivise: Oh.. Coz its my cousin wedding on Monday ma! And all the bride maids is wearing yellow lu.

Terence: Okay... But you’re not there also.

Ivise: ......(silence)....

Then suddenly...

Ivise: NGUAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No kidding!!! I really cried!! I have no idea why but suddenly got tears and then I kept on sulking. Suddenly so dramatic pula.. But felt better when Terence convinced me that I’m actually in Malaysia. Hehhe. I know I’m childish but I guess I really missed my girls. Like the last wedding when we play prank on the groom side. Sigh...

I wanna go home!! =(

Oh yeah, the dress I wanted to buy is this. From American Apparel. I like their dress. Not too extravagant but just simply nice.

R-ship?

You know “relationship”?? Of course you do. Its like jumping into a ship together. Most people have firsthand experience and even if you don’t, you hear your mates talk about it all the time. Of all the other more important and intriguing things in life, love has its very powerful strength. It can make the poorest people happy or the richest people empty.

I’m not a love guru myself, though I’m happily satisfied with my relationship. Anyhow I think relationship is not as simple as a lot of people says, “Just fall in love and let it flow. Be yourself and let your emotions run wild”.

Anyone who does exactly that must be out of their mind.

It is true that you need to be yourself and not fake it. But sometimes, you also need to observe, learn and compromise! About letting your emotions run wild, sure thing. You should tell people you love them and shows your affection. Yet you still need to conserve certain things and not exaggerate your action. For example, frequently texting your partner absolutely romantic words to the extent its’ disgusting – not cool. Publicly displaying your affection by tongue kissing (licking here and there, all over the place.... sloppy!!) – not cool. Regularly interrupt an interesting conversation just because you suddenly feel like kissing – SO NOT COOL!

The behaviour that I despise the most? No Trust. What is the point of having a relationship if you do not trust your partner? Constantly suspecting your partner, being overly possessive to the extent that no one can see him/her, get mad at your partner just because your call/text was not replied ten minutes ago or be jealous of every single time he/she laughed with his/her mates is something that would not work with me. I’m pretty sure some people out there would love this kind of control though. Then again, there’s always an exception. If your partner is obviously cheating on you (everyone knew and even pictures as proof!), you’ll be a dumb ass to trust. In fact, if you’ve already been broken hearted twice and yet allow it to happen again, it’s your own god damn foolishness. If your partner doesn’t want you again, again, again and again, don’t be a pathetic and keep on begging. Be graceful and move on! There’s plenty of fish out there who might be much better and is waiting for you.

All in all, I suppose relationship is a game of mind and heart.

ps: special thanks to my mom and sis for their lifelong education.
